Welcome to Geaux Teal! My husband, David, and I are the proud parents of 4 daughters, Brandi, Nikki, Jami and Ashli. On December 21st, 2010 our lives changed forever. Brandi was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She was 29. Yearly check-ups were always normal. Because of her age, she was misdiagnosed for 6 months. The cancer was aggressive and had spread throughout her body. A complete hysterectomy, nine chemo treatments, bowel blockage surgery, fifteen radiation treatments and brain surgery to remove a tumor...Brandi's fight was over. At the age of 30, Brandi received her wings.

 

Eighteen days after Brandi took her last breath, I was blessed to witness my first grandchild take her first breath. Our family made a promise to Brandi..."Get the word out about this silent killer!" It's because of my girls that I push ahead about awareness! To my family and friends, THANK YOU for your love and support! Geaux Teal organization, the finest group of women that I have ever had the pleasure of working with! It is truly an honor.
